Capture IT Studios offers eight professional photography services across Raleigh, Wake County, the Triangle, and throughout North Carolina: commercial photography, real estate photography, aerial photography, drone photography, and sport photography. Visit our services page for a complete overview.
While headquartered in Raleigh, we serve the entire Triangle region including Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, Garner, Knightdale, and all of Wake County. We also regularly travel to Wilmington, Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, and other North Carolina cities for commercial projects, and aerial engagements. Visit our contact page for more details.
Booking is simple: submit a quote request through our website or call us at 919-589-8530. We respond within 24 hours with a detailed proposal outlining scope, deliverables, pricing, and timeline. Once you approve the proposal and submit your 50% retainer, your date is locked in. For we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance.
Sessions can be rescheduled free of charge with 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations more than 72 hours before your session receive a 12-month credit. Cancellations within 72 hours are non-refundable. Weather-dependent sessions are rescheduled at no cost. Full details in our Terms of Service.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discover), bank transfers (ACH), Venmo, Zelle, and company checks. A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to confirm your booking. Pricing varies by service type: real estate photography starts at $150, from $199, from $299, sport photography from $300, commercial photography from $750, and from $2,500. Yes! We offer bundled pricing when you book multiple services together — for example, combining real estate photography with drone add-ons, or adding portraits to a commercial session. We also offer volume discounts for real estate agents booking 5+ listings per month and corporate clients booking recurring team portrait sessions. Contact us for custom package pricing.
All prices shown are starting rates. Final pricing depends on your specific project scope including duration, number of images, location, add-ons, and deliverable requirements. Every Capture IT Studios quote is customized and provided in a detailed, transparent proposal before you commit to anything.
Projects within Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, Wake Forest, Garner, and Wake County have no travel fee. For projects outside the Triangle — including Charlotte, Wilmington, Asheville, and other NC destinations — a travel fee may apply depending on distance. Travel fees are always disclosed upfront in your quote before you commit.
Standard turnaround for real estate photography is same-day or next-business-day delivery. Rush delivery within 4–6 hours is available for an additional fee. All images are delivered HDR-processed, color-corrected, and optimized for MLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, and all major listing platforms.
We recommend at minimum decluttering surfaces, making beds, opening blinds, turning on all interior lights, and ensuring landscaping is tidy. For vacant properties, we offer virtual staging — our editing team digitally furnishes empty rooms with realistic furniture and decor. Our photographer also does a quick walkthrough upon arrival to adjust details before shooting.
Yes! Twilight photography (golden hour and blue hour) and aerial/drone photography are available as add-ons to any real estate package. Twilight images are especially powerful for luxury listings across Raleigh, Cary, and Wake County. Aerial add-ons from our FAA Part 107 certified pilots start at $100–$150.
Yes. Every Capture IT Studios pilot holds a valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. We carry comprehensive general liability insurance with $1,000,000 minimum coverage per occurrence and provide COIs upon request. We handle all LAANC airspace authorizations for flights near Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and other NC airports.
We operate professional DJI platforms including the Inspire 3, Mavic 3 Pro, and Air 3 series — capturing up to 42MP stills and 5.2K cinematic video. All aircraft feature redundant GPS, obstacle avoidance, gimbal-stabilized cameras, and fail-safe return-to-home systems. We select the optimal platform for each project. Yes. Large portions of Raleigh, Durham, Morrisville, and Cary fall within RDU’s controlled airspace. We obtain FAA LAANC authorization before every flight in controlled airspace — typically processed within minutes. We have extensive experience operating in RDU’s airspace and regularly fly missions in Morrisville, Brier Creek, North Raleigh, and Research Triangle Park.
If conditions are unsafe (rain, sustained winds above 20mph, thunderstorms, dense fog), we reschedule at no additional cost. Safety is never compromised. Our team monitors forecasts proactively and contacts you ahead of time if we anticipate a delay. Weather rescheduling is not considered a cancellation under our Terms of Service.

Yes! Every sport photography gallery includes a built-in print store where parents and athletes can order professional prints, canvases, posters, and custom products shipped directly to their door. This is a hands-off solution for league organizers — no inventory or coordination required. Gallery links are shareable via email, team apps, or social media.
Yes — we offer season packages for youth leagues and recreation departments across Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Springs, and Wake County. Packages include team photo day, individual portraits, and recurring game-day action coverage at discounted per-event rates. We assign a consistent photographer to your organization all season.
